A young boy who was found deserted at the edge of the Forbidden Lands, Nata, a member of an ancient clan known as "The Keepers," is rescued and taken in by members of the Hunter's Guild. A few years later, plans to locate and rescue the rest of his people are finally put into motion. Accompanied by the Handler Alma, the Blacksmith Gemma, and a lone Hunter, Nata sets out on an expedition to find his home, and locate the 'White Wraith,' a mysterious monster that had attacked his village.

HISTORY.

He was born in a small, isolated village on the outskirts of an ancient capitol that had long since been abandoned. Nata, who never knew anything outside of his little village, was raised by a family friend, Tasheen, after his parents eventually perished. A member of "The Keepers," Nata has possessed a special pendant as a memento from his father for as long as he can remember.This pendant contained special properties, and was the key to stopping a powerful source of energy known as the Dragontorch, from which a fuel known as wylk is produced. This energy, which flowed through out the Forbidden Lands, was responsible for creating consistent seasons throughout the east. It was also a remnant of an ancient civilization from which the Keepers were descended from, known as "Wyveria."All of this information, Nata was to be told by the people who raised him—the day he was forced to flee, that is. Disaster struck his home village of Sild when a guardian (an artificial monster created to guard the dragontorch) awoke from its slumber and laid siege to the ruins. As he was only a child, Nata was able to escape through a small passage and into a tunnel that he traveled through to the very edge of the Eastlands.How the child managed to get as far as the East-West buffer at the edge of the Forbidden Lands is a mystery, but many see him as very brave and resilient for having done so. After a long journey, Nata passed out at the outskirts of the desert, where he was found by a group of researchers who worked under the Hunter's Guild.Nata's rescue led to hundreds of questions. The inhabited lands of the West had believed the East to have been completely deserted for the past millennia. Brought under the foster care of the Handler Alma, Nata spent the next few years under the vigilant watch of the Hunter's Guild while officials looked deeper into planning an expedition to scour his homeland.When plans were finally approved and put into motion, Nata would return accompanied by a large group of hunters and researchers, all collaborating with the goal to find his missing clan, record information on the Forbidden Lands, and locate the "White Wraith," the monster that had attacked his village. Along the way he learns about the world beyond what very little he knew, and slowly gains an appreciation for life and those in it.

VERSES.

MAIN VERSES.

  • LOW RANK. Set during the events of the main story of Wilds. Three years after stranding himself out in the desert whilst fleeing from his home, Nata returns to the Eastlands, accompanied by an expedition team with a mission to locate his village and unravel the mystery of the monster that had attacked it. Joined by Alma, Gemma, a lone Hunter and their palico, Nata discovers a much bigger world than he had ever dreamed of finding beyond his little village.

  • DURING HIGH RANK. The Keepers have been found. Arkveld's secret has been unraveled, and Zoh Shia, wielder of the Dragontorch, has been slain. With a renewed enthusiasm for life around him, Nata has joined the Hunter's Guild under the apprenticeship of the Hunter. As they travel across the Forbidden Lands, studying the new anomalies that have befallen them, Nata searches for word of an egg believed to have hatched into another Arkveld.

  • POST HIGH RANK. Though Gore Magala has fallen, its mark has left an impact on the Forbidden Lands, having driven the young Arkveld into an unprecedented craving for violence. Though the monster is slain by his mentor, Nata holds onto hope for the future, and seeks to investigate further findings of the White Wraith, which has now been resurrected from extinction.

  • HSR TIMELINE. In an alternate timeline, Nata is found and taken in by the Astral Express shortly after being forced to flee his village. Whilst adjusting to the wider traces of the world, he endures to one day return to his home and rescue his people.

AUs.

  • HTTYD. Descended from an ancient civilization that had since fallen in the depths of the Hidden World, Nata is forced to the surface when the dragons suddenly attack his village, rendering him the only one to escape. Desperate to save his village, Nata must brave the Barbaric Archipelago, as well as his own trauma as he battles with the knowledge that dragons and people can live in unity.

  • POKEMON. After being forced to flee from his village when a mysterious pokemon attacks, young Nata is found alone in the dunes of Orre. Taken in by members of Blueberry Academy in Unova, Nata spends his days learning about a world he never knew was out there, while officials conspire a plan to find his people, and bring him home.

  • DIGIMON. Several generations have passed since Nata's ancestors arrived in the digital world, but in reality, its only been thirty years. Aided by a strange kudamon, Nata escapes to the real world after a hostile digimon attacks his village home. Forced to adapt to a new world, he seeks for a way to save the rest of his people.

  • PROFESSOR LAYTON. When young Nata is found unconscious within the vicinity of a remote archaeological site, questions start to turn up about his place of origin. The answer may run far deeper than one may think, when researchers begin to suspect that a distant remnant of the Azran may be connected . . .
